Carolyn E. Kling is a Managing Partner at Kling Partners, a Denver based Investment Consulting firm to families and family offices. As an independent Fiduciary, Carolyn is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst and utilizes her expertise to analyze and assess client investment portfolios and their underlying investments.
A graduate of the Leadership Center for Investment Stewards at West Point, Carolyn is a member of the Global Leadership Council for qualified professionals that serve in critical decision-making roles. Carolyn’s extensive career includes executive positions with institutional investment firms nationally. Her background began in the field of law where she served as a Judicial District Court Clerk in the 4th Judicial District in Colorado Springs.
Carolyn is a founding member and past Chair of the Del Mar Community Foundation Endowment, previous Board Director for the San Diego Boys & Girls Club Foundation and sits on various investment committees. She is an active member of the North County Estate Planning Council, 100 Women in Hedge Funds, California Hedge Fund Association and Association for Corporate Growth. Carolyn is a member of Family Office Advisory Board for Sheppard Mullin, Richter & Hampton, Esq., NYU Stern Family Office Council, and Princeton Council on Family Offices. In 2013 and 2014, she was nominated as one of the Most Influential Women in Business in San Diego by the San Diego Daily Transcript and San Diego Business Journal.
Carolyn, a Colorado native has resided on the west coast between Del Mar, CA and Denver for the past 32 of her professional years, and travels extensively throughout the country in her business.
