Eddie Sim

Edward Sim joined Centura Health as President, Mountains/North Denver Operating Group and CEO, St. Anthony Hospital in January, 2017. In this capacity, he is responsible for the six facilities within the group- Avista Adventist Hospital, St. Anthony Hospital, St. Anthony North Health Campus, St. Anthony Summit Medical Center, Longmont United Hospital and OrthoColorado Hospital. Mr. Sim also serves as Chief Executive Officer of St. Anthony Hospital, a 224-bed, Level 1 Trauma Center.

Prior to his role at Centura, Mr. Sim spent eleven years as a leader with Baptist Health in Jacksonville, Florida. During his time as Senior Vice President and President, Physician Integration he had administrative oversight of over 350 employed physicians and also for developing the health system’s model for clinical integration. He also had roles as Hospital President of Baptist Medical Center Beaches and Vice President, Operations, Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville.

Mr. Sim served as Chief Business Development Officer and Associate Administrator at North Fulton Regional Hospital in Roswell, Georgia. He began his career in hospital administration in Tenet Healthcare’s Leadership Development Program and was also a Consultant with The Advisory Board Company in Washington, DC.

Mr. Sim received his Master of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and Master of Science from Albany Medical College. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Economics from Boston University.

Active in his community, Mr. Sim has been involved with local organizations such as WeCare Jacksonville, The Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida and MissionWay Community Church. Previous affiliations include Big Brothers Big Sisters, American Cancer Society, The Blood Alliance, Jacksonville Beach Chamber of Commerce and Fleet Landing Retirement Community. Mr. Sim and his wife, Susan, are the proud parents of Olivia and Cameron.
