
Mr. Sapkin is a founder and Managing Principal of Edgemark Development. Since 1999, Edgemark has been one of Denver’s most significant commercial development firms, with a strong presence throughout the Midwest, Rocky Mountains and western United States.
With more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience, Mr. Sapkin has been involved in various real estate developments, including several million square feet of retail development and, more recently, high end self-storage facilities. Mr. Sapkin has established a proven track record for entrepreneurial business transactions specializing in commercial development, redevelopment, and urban projects.
Mr. Sapkin received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1983 from the University of Denver, where he remains involved in the Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management. He has served on the University of Denver Board of Trustees, is a member of the Stadium District Board of Directors and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
As a former chairman and current board member of Colorado Concern, Mr. Sapkin has a long history of advocating for smart business policies on every level of government. In addition, he is actively involved in various political campaigns. He is a board member of the Denver Center for Performing Arts and supports a number of charitable organizations throughout the community. Mr. Sapkin is married and has three children.
