As General Manager, USA, Brian is responsible for long-term strategy, business development, and external relations for Suncor’s business in the United States.
Brian initially joined Suncor in 2012 in Calgary, Alberta as the Director of Business Development for the Oil Sands business unit, after working with Suncor for three years via a consulting engagement. In 2015, Brian became the Director of the Commercial Services organization, and in 2018 Brian moved to Edmonton, Alberta to lead Suncor’s Pipelines Business Unit. In late 2021, Brian returned home to the United States to serve in his current capacity of General Manager, USA.
Prior to joining Suncor, Brian worked for approximately 10 years as a management consultant with Accenture, based out of Dallas, Texas. During his time in consulting, he focused primarily on oil & gas, power, and mining clients across the US and Canada.
Brian is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana and spent most of his childhood in the Dallas, Texas area. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Biomedical Engineering degree. When he’s not working, Brian enjoys staying active with his wife and two boys in the outdoors.
