
Joe currently serves as Huntington Bank’s Colorado Regional President. In this role, Joe is responsible for overseeing all of Huntington’s business development and service activities in the state, and ensuring those activities are aligned with Huntington’s mission, purpose, and values. Joe joined Huntington in June 2021 to launch its Colorado commercial banking practice, following Huntington’s successful acquisition of TCF Financial. He was elevated into the Regional President role in 2022.
Prior to joining Huntington, Joe worked at BBVA between 2009 and 2021. During that time he held positions of increasing leadership responsibility in the bank’s mid-corporate and middle market groups. Joe started his banking career at KeyBank in Colorado, where he worked between 2000 and 2009.
Outside of work, Joe serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Denver, Reach Out and Read Colorado, and the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation. He has also been involved with the Denver Public Library’s Friends Foundation in various roles, including the executive board, since 2010.
Joe graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1998 with a degree in Finance. He earned his MBA from the University of Colorado in 2006. Joe lives in Superior, CO with his wife, Amanda. They have three children.
