Kory Mitchell is the Chief Growth officer of EIS Holdings and Co-President of Earth Services & Abatement, a Colorado-based Environmental Remediation and Demolition firm with over 700 employees. Kory grew up in the family business alongside his brother Kristian and moved to Denver in 2006 as the Colorado business became the corporate headquarters. EIS was named a top 3 asbestos firm in the US by Engineering News Record (ENR) with 2021 expected revenues of $180 million.
Kory was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa. He was a Fulbright fellow in Belgium and went on to get an MA at Northwestern University in Political Science. He is very active in Democratic politics both on the national stage and locally. He met his wife Bridget on a political campaign in 2009 and they married in 2015. They have a three-year old son, Maclain. They currently reside in Denver’s Park Hill neighborhood and are building a home in the Crestmoor.
Kory is a firm believer in giving back to the community. He and Bridget are passionate about Children’s Hospital Colorado, where Maclain had open heart surgery at birth. They also give to The Third Way Center. Kory is a founding member of the Denver Brown Water Society, a mission driven men’s organization that raises funds for children and veteran programs.
When not working, Kory enjoys traveling, particularly on food and wine discovery trips. An avid poker player, he has played at the World Series of Poker for the past 15 years. After work, he can often be found at the Churchills Cigar room at the Brown Palace.
