Scott deLuise is a fifth generation Coloradoan, grew up in Golden, earned a BS in Finance at CU Boulder and MBA in Real Estate and Construction Management at DU. His Great-Great Grandfather was one of the original Trustees of the Colorado School of Mines.
He has been CEO of Adjusters International since 1985, and grew the company from a ma and pa operation to over 350 employees internationally, including a government consulting company based in DC.
Scott was raised to be of service to his community. His mom served on the Golden City Council and was honored by the Golden Civic Foundation as one of the original historic preservationists in Golden (as well as Miss Genie on Romper Room). His Father was a highly esteemed physician in Golden for over 50 years. Scott has served as president of the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters, was co-founder of the Rocky Mountain Association of Public Insurance Adjusters and is on the board of directors of Rising Phoenix Holdings. He is a past president of the Gyro Club of Denver. He was appointed by the Town of Erie Trustees as the co-chair of the Erie Airport Economic Development Board, and the Metro Denver Aviation Coalition as the Town’s representative.
Scott and Jan have been married for 48 years, their Son, Kalon is a CPA and COO of AIMBC. Scott and Jan have two super cute granddaughters. His passion for aviation has led him to earn a private pilot certificate, single, multi-engine and seaplane ratings as well as current instrument rating. He lives on the runway at the Erie Municipal Airport.
